Your Bio
I have been a professional photojournalist since retiring from the US Government. Before that, I had been an amateur photographer for 50 years. In 2001 I switched to a digital camera and haven't picked up a film camera since.
I use a Nikon D300 Digital SLR and shoot RAW images. I keep a Ricoh GX100 in my pocket almost all the time . The GX100 doesn't compare with the quality and flexibility of the Nikon D300, but it does have the virtue of always being handy.
I have been a freelance photojournalist since 2006, shooting mostly for local newspapers. I like taking candid pictures of people, including strangers, and animals. My dog, Candide, is a favorite subject.
